TODAY on It's Payday Radio! Branding Insights From Marketing Expert Steve Stoute!

When companies like Hewlett Packard, Reebok and General Motors want to re-introduce their products to young America they reach out to one man—marketing expert Steve Stoute of Translation Inc. Stoute’s team produced those HP laptop commercials where you heard celebrity voices, but you did not see their faces. His firm has a 10-year track record of helping companies attract more customers and gain market share. The New York-native joined us on It’s Payday to help you transform your ideas into high quality brands.

Stoute, who also leads the Carol’s Daughter beauty supply company, traded a successful career as a music executive for a chance in advertising. He got his start almost by accident. The creative process sparks his inventive juices.

Giving back is important to Stoute. In fact, he launched Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN), with Mary J. Blige. His philantrophic efforts were recognized by Target’s Dare.Dream.Do campaign. He was humbled by the honor.

Stoute says we should always try "to leave a mark" with our work.

He has a great story.
How does Mr. Rinkins plan on making a mark with his work?

This is something we should all think about.
