Expect Haters!

It’s an unfortunate fact that haters are always going to be here. Rain, hail, sleet or snow; the haters will always show. I must admit it. In the past, I have allowed haters to slow my progress. But, I overcame them. Here are three steps I used to brush the dirt off my shoulder.

Don’t Take It Personal- Their hate is NEVER about you. The moment you decide to act on something or go in a different direction- haters think you are doing it at their expense. They somehow believe that if you’re doing something positive, that it’s an indictment on them. Your progress multiplies their insecurities so they lash out at you. They are really projecting their feelings about themselves onto you. Realize haters will never be satisfied.

Ignore Them- You don’t have time to focus on anything that does not matter. Pursuing your goals and dreams is a full-time, over-time situation. Use all of your energy to achieve your goals. You don’t have to explain or justify your actions or ambitions to your haters.

Enlarge Your Dreams -Make your dreams so big and so compelling that you persue them vigorously regardless of whoever supports you. A mission that you seek unconditionally and passionately. Your life should never be about proving yourself to others. But, rising to the challenges you have set for yourself. And, proving to YOURSELF that you can do it. Let’s Get it!
