Zach Rinkins is an Associated Press award-winning journalist committed to making financial information both relevant and understandable. Rinkins is on a mission to financially empower generation next. He has been featured in various print and broadcast media.
Zach began his professional journalism career at the age of 15, as a cast member of By Kids for Kids, on Miami’s WPLG ABC-TV affiliate. He also reported for Miami’s Gospel Truth Newspaper and expanded to radio and online media.
Rinkins is an alumnus of Florida A & M University's School of Journalism and Graphic Communication. He is also a distinguished recipient of Knight-Ridder’s Silver Knight award. His life is rooted and grounded in faith, family and service. In 2001, then-Miami-Dade County Mayor Alex Penelas recognized Rinkins’ service with a mayoral commendation. He enjoys reading, community service, good conversation and a good game of spades.
